This newsletter is exclusively for users who use a "white cube" eBlocker and who we want to inform today about the current state of development:

The upgrade is ready to move to the latest eOS version 2.5, which is completely based on the Open Source Code and contains many improvements. The very complex upgrade process, in which the entire "substructure", i.e. the Linux operating system is replaced, works well. All settings are now seamlessly taken over from eOS 2.4 and we had planned to make the public beta version available to all users this week.

In current eOS 2.5 long-term tests we have found that eBlocker sometimes reboots sporadically or crashes abruptly and doesn't react at all. Unfortunately this is not only a serious problem, but especially the identification of the cause is very complex. Because eOS 2.5 runs smoothly and stable on the Raspberry Pi and log files also indicate this, we suspect a bug in the new operating system in combination with the white cube hardware used (Banana Pi M2+).

We are working hard to find the cause, but at the moment we can't say if and when we will be able to find and fix the issue.

We have the ambition to provide all eBlocker users with the Open Source version of eBlockerOS and are currently using all resources for troubleshooting. As soon as there are news, we will inform you promptly via newsletter and the forum.
