Hello Newsletter Subscriber,
Today we have important news for you again:
"Bundesblocker" well received
We were very happy about the great feedback to our "Press Release Bundesblocker". Thank you so much for this! Even we would wish a Bundesblocker, the message was of course an April Fool's joke 😁
In the night of April 21st, 2022 we have released the latest eBlockerOS version 2.9. All eBlockers with an activated license key for automatic updates have already been updated. Users without automatic updates should update manually as soon as possible. Please note when updating manually that the update may take more than 30 minutes and in this time the internet connection will be interrupted.
With this version we made many improvements in the background to ensure eBlockerOS runs even more stable and secure. In this course, the kernel of the underlying Linux system was also updated. The only small drawback for "white cube" users: The ultra-bright RGB LED, which is built into a few eBlockers, cannot (yet) be controlled with the new kernel. More about this and all new features in the Blog Post as well as in the Release Notes.

eBlockerOS for Virtual Machine (VM) in test
Due to the worldwide chip shortage, Raspberry Pi mini computers are rarely available at the moment. In order to allow interested people to test eBlockerOS anyway, we will release a VM version soon, which we are already testing internally. With this version it will be possible to run eBlockerOS on almost every computer and also on bigger servers in a virtual machine. We will inform you in detail about the planned VM release in May.
Next big step: IPv6 support
The updates in eBlockerOS 2.9 also served the preparation for the IPv6 implementation funded by German insurance company DEVK Versicherungen. This will allow eBlockerOS to also support the newest internet protocol, so it´s no longer necessary to disable IPv6 on the router. We are currently planning to release eBlockerOS 3 with IPv6 support in autumn.
Spread the word: free automatic updates await you
You are an enthusiastic eBlocker user? Then please spread the word. Tell your friends or share it on social media. We will reward your engagement with a free license key for automatic updates - and we are very happy to protect even more users from internet dangers.
Best regards from Hamburg
Boris, Christian & the whole eBlocker team
PS: Unfortunately, we have not received much feedback about the Auto Trust App and it would be great if you could share your experiences with us. Your feedback is important to improve eBlocker!
