VM-Edition - also for Synology, QNAP and other VMs
We have received very positive feedback about the eBlockerOS VM-Edition we released last month. The VM-Edition runs completely smooth and has been adapted by the community for further virtualizers. Thank you very much for your feedback and the great engagement!
Now the VM-Edition not only runs on VirtualBox, but also on various other virtualizers like VMWare/ESXi, HyperV, Proxmox, UnraidOS and others. Especially for 24/7 running Synology and QNAP servers with enough performance eBlockerOS is an excellent addition, which we highly recommend as an alternative to the Raspberry Pi. More about this in the VM forum post.

Technical "cut-thru"for IPv6 successful
Despite the vacation situation, we are making good progress with the IPv6 implementation. Thank you so much at this point dear DEVK Insurances for funding this important feature! During the implementation we managed the so called "technical cut-thru" by successfully implementing eBlocker's core functionality for blocking ads and trackers to IPv6 already. Nevertheless, there is still a long way to go until all eBlocker features, especially IP anonymization and eBlocker Mobile, are adapted to IPv6 and the user interface is updated accordingly. Here we would be very happy about further support by a GUI developer - ideally with Angular-JS experience. Do you want to contribute? Then just send an email to voluntary@eblocker.org. Welcome to the team!

TrustPid tracking? No problem with eBlocker!
In May, a Vodafone subsidiary launched a new, particularly perfidious tracking method called TrustPid in Europe. It allows advertisers to recognize Vodafone and German Telekom mobile customers uniquely and across websites, even without the use of cookies. The good news for all eBlocker users: eBlocker Mobile already blocks this invasive tracking completely since the beginning of June. Vodafone and Telekom mobile customers wanting to protect themselves from this tricky tracking should therefore make sure to use eBlocker Mobile.

First meeting "Team Germany"
As you probably know, eBlocker is driven by volunteers from different countries for more than two years now. This is why we only know each other from monthly virtual meetings so far and have never met in person. We want to change that: On July 9, a part of the German supporters will meet centrally in Kassel/Germany. Unfortunately, all supporters have to pay their own travel, accommodation and hospitality expenses, because we do not have any budget to support here.
But of course we would be very happy about support from the community: You want to buy us a beer, invite us to dinner or just say thank you for our commitment? Then donate for our meeting and sweeten our evening: Say thank you and donate for food & drink (donation form in German only - but you get the idea 😉)
Thank you very much for this and best regards
