| eBlocker with Fritzbox and fixed IP addresses | Relevance | 3 Monaten ago | facebita | Bugs & Issues |
| | I run the DHCP server at eBlocker 3.2.3. The DHCP server at my Fritzbox 7690 v8.0.2 ist switched off. I want to set single-digit fixed IPv4 addresses for the infrastructure devices, i.e. repeaters and LAN access points, and two-digit fixed IPv4 for stationary devices, e.g. TV, PV inverter, AppleTV, Apple HomePods etc. And for all mobile devices the DHCP server should assign the IP addresses from the three digit number range. As far as I see, I can not assign in the GUI of eBlocker how to specifically assign a fixed IP address to a specific gadget. But in ... |
| RE: New license key | Relevance | 5 Monaten ago | SiBu | eBlocker Open Source Forum |
| | I recently installed eBlocker OS 4 on a Raspberry Pi 5. Previously, I was running eBlocker OS 3 on a Raspberry Pi 4 with a valid license key for daily automatic updates (donation subscription). Before switching, I backed up the system on the Raspberry Pi 4 and performed an update. Unfortunately, I'm unable to restore this backup or the license on the new Raspberry Pi 5 with OS 4 – restoring it isn't working. Could you please help me? |
| Advertisements displayed despite flawless functionality | Relevance | 6 Monaten ago | ObiTwo | eBlocker Open Source Forum |
| | Dear community, may I ask for your advice? eBlocker works reliably in my home and the tracking protection is effective. In particular, advertisements are reliably hidden when surfing on Linux PCs and MacOS devices. However, there is one persistent issue. I have noticed this on my iPhone when using Safari: when I visit the website n-tv.de, an advertisement appears at the top of the screen (see screenshot). What can I do to prevent this from happening? Thank you very much! Attachment : IMG_8831.jpg |
| Unclear message under „trusted apps“ | Relevance | 7 Monaten ago | mr.bien | eBlocker Open Source Forum |
| | Hi there, I am hunting a strange issue in my local network. I stumbled over the following message under “trusted apps” in eBlocker: “System updates have not been applied to some exception lists due to custom modifications. Please reset those exception lists to get the latest updates. You may make a copy of your changes to apply them again if required.” I do not exactly understand what that means. Does it mean I shall remove all the manual entries to the trusted app list? If so, how do I backup and restore them automatically? What is meant by system update ... |
| DHCP settings / conflict with Fritzbox DHCP-server | Relevance | 8 Monaten ago | ThomasR | Bugs & Issues |
| | Hi, I lost access to my eBlocker (Raspberry Pi) after changing network settings to automatic reception of an IP-address (NOT to eBlocker as DHCP-server!) The problem remains even after complete new installation of eBlocker-OS on new SD-card. Viewed through Fritzbox 7590 (192.168.178.1) the eBlocker-IP-adresses seem to change by themselves: From "192.168.179.5" (instead 192.168.178.x while an IPv4-address is shown as 192.168.178.61), then it changes back to 192.168.178.1 (same as Fritzbox) - so it looks like a conflict of IP-Addresses between eBlocker and F ... |

| | Hello all, can anyone help me why I always end up on this page first when I go to the address is it because of the eBlocker? Attachment : cloudflare.jpg If I set the hook (2x), then I finally get to the desired page - but annoying it is. No idea what Cloudflare is and what it is good for. Thanks 😀 |
