# How do I set up automatic port forwarding with UPnP?

To set up automatic port forwarding, you must be logged into the router’s user interface. On some routers Universal Plug & Play (UPnP) must be enabled first. Additionally, on some routers you must explicitly allow the eBlocker device to add port forwardings.

Fritzbox:

- Select "Erweiterte Ansicht"
- Go to "Heimnetz / Heimnetzübersicht / Netzwerkeinstellungen"
- Enable checkbox "Statusinformationen über UPnP übertragen"
- Click "Übernehmen"
- Go to "Internet / Freigaben / Portfreigaben"
- Click "Gerät für Freigaben hinzufügen"
- Select eBlocker device
- Enable checkbox "Selbstständige Portfreigaben für dieses Gerät erlauben"
- Click "OK"
- Click "Übernehmen".

TP-Link:

- Go to "Forwarding / UPnP"
- Click "Enable"
