Dear Newsletter Subscriber,
Today we would like to inform you about news for your eBlocker:
eBlockerOS 3.2.x Release available
This new update fixes a bug that only affected Apple devices with iOS greater than 18.4 and the latest macOS Sequoia. Due to a change made by Apple, devices in eBlockerOS-protected WLANs could not always connect correctly and a “Captive Portal Dialog” was displayed. The work-around for this issue already mentioned in the April newsletter is no longer necessary after the update.
At the same time, we have also fixed a small bug that caused the dashboard statistics for blocked trackers and ads in IPv6 networks not to be displayed correctly. We have also updated the device cloaking so that you are even better protected and disguised.
The new release is now available for update. All eBlocker devices with automatic updates have already been updated last night. Please find the official release notes here.

eBlockerOS 4 Development Status
The development of eBlockerOS 4 continues despite the 3.2 bugfix release. We have (finally) been able to reproduce the Squid proxy error mentioned in the April newsletter, but the cause is still unknown. We hope that “the knot” can be untied in the next few weeks and that we can then start the integration test with eBlockerOS 4.
Even though we have already pointed this out several times, we would like to briefly repeat the most important tips in light of the current situation:
- A backup of the eBlocker configuration is an absolute must (especially for older devices). This saves you having to reconfigure everything if the hardware fails.
- Additional blocker lists usually only lead to errors and over-blocking. If you're not an anti-tracking expert, save yourself the trouble and don't add any more lists. The eBlocker filters we have curated offer a good balance of protection and functionality for apps. And best of all: they are free and include additional filters licensed by us that are otherwise not freely available.
Boris, Christian and the entire eBlocker team
