eBlockerOS 3: The perfect Christmas present for a free Internet
|
Celebrate the holidays with eBlockerOS 3! It's our gift to the eBlocker community, which we released today - after more than a year of development. The integration of the long-awaited IPv6 support (beta) is just the start. Our Christmas present also includes numerous improvements "under the hood" as well as the latest security patches, which ensure an even more stable and secure operation. Four years of eBlocker Open Source: From insolvency to innovation
|
Today we are celebrating not only eBlockerOS 3, but also our fourth birthday! At the end of 2019, we took over the five-year-old eBlocker technology from insolvency. Since 2020, we have been successfully continuing its development as an open source project with our dedicated team. We are very proud to have managed not only to continue maintaining the innovative technology, but also to jointly add major features such as IPv6 to ensure eBlockerOS remains future-proof in the long term.

Looking to the future: Together we can achieve more
|
The coming year also holds exciting developments for eBlockerOS. We are planning to introduce the "Online Time" feature, which is again supported by DEVK, followed by the migration to the latest Debian Linux and support for Raspberry Pi 5 at the end of 2024. In case we receive more development resources, we also plan to add DoH/DNSSEC to eBlocker DNS and fulfill further feature requests from the community. In any case, we are highly motivated to reach these milestones together with your help and make eBlockerOS even more powerful.
