Hello Newsletter Subscriber,

Today we have more news from eBlocker:

eBlockerOS 3.1 update released
In the night of March 26, we released the latest version 3.1 of eBlockerOS. Users with activated automatic updates have already received this version. The new version now also supports Device Cloaking in IPv6 networks and the external sharing of home servers via IPv6. In addition to minor improvements in the background, we have also updated the so-called "surrogates". So websites whose trackers and ads are blocked do not recognize the blocking and the website is still displayed correctly (thanks @MainzelM for the updateπŸ™). All changes can be found in the Release Notes 3.1.

Important note for IPv6 users
Please note that even with eBlockerOS 3.1, IP anonymization in IPv6 networks is only possible with IPv6-compatible VPN providers, but not (yet) via the Tor network.

Information via Mastodon & newsletter
After we have deleted both our Facebook presence and our Twitter/X account, we are now only represented on Mastodon in the social media. With around 200 followers on Mastodon, we haven't quite reached our 10,000 followers on Twitter/Facebook yet. πŸ˜‰ We would therefore be very pleased to have even more followers on Mastodon who are interested in short posts with a look behind the scenes at eBlocker.

However, our newsletter is and remains the central source for all important news for eBlockerOS users. If you subscribe to the newsletter, you are guaranteed not to miss anything!

Trusted App submissions
Finally, we would like to thank everyone who submitted new Trusted Apps for their continuous feedback. With your support, you are helping less experienced eBlocker users with the enhanced protection of eBlocker HTTPS. Awesome! πŸ«‚

By the way: If you have defined trusted apps yourself, you can simply share them with us directly from the Trusted App Definition using the "Share exception list with eBlocker" function.

Many thanks at this point to our fellow supporters @Fluffy and @Valentin, who review every Trusted App thoroughly and approve them manually so that no unwanted tracking services can sneak in. πŸ‘

Best wishes and happy Easter
Boris, Christian and the entire eBlocker team
