Hi there,

I’ve been testing both eBlockerVM-3.0.3-amd64.ova and eBlockerVM-4.0.2-amd64-beta.ova for a while.

Everything seemed to work fine until I tried streaming Radio Paradise using the AIMP player

With eBlocker enabled, the stream plays for 5-10 seconds, then stops for 2-3 seconds before restarting.

I also tested the stream in Firefox, but there it plays for just 2-3 seconds before displaying "The connection was reset".

Testing with the direct IP results in the same issue.

Also i've added both URLs for Radio Paradise to the "Allow Domains" and still nothing.

But there is more..

I was so excited about this project that I told all my friends about it. They’re not very technical, but as soon as I mentioned it would reduce ads on their networks, they were immediately on board.

I even bought several small Dell WYSE devices, which are arriving tomorrow, with the plan to install eBlocker on each of them and integrate them into my friends’ networks.

But now I’m worried...

What if eBlocker starts interfering with their networks - blocking legitimate websites, disrupting PS4 traffic, thus preventing us from playing online. If something goes wrong, I’d be the one responsible.

Do you have any tips for me?
If I want to play it safe, what settings would you recommend?

@lerain See here: https://eblocker.org/en/docs/information-on-radios-loudspeakers-printers-nas/

In brief: Switch to Individual (or Expert) Network Settings and the issue will be gone.

THX!

@random Hell yeah, it works now!

I went with the expert setup while keeping my router’s DHCP enabled.
Now, eBlocker has a static IP, which is great since it used to change all the time.

However, I don’t see any traffic going through it.

I did changed the "Primary DNS" and "DHCP Default Gateway" to "192.168.1.240" in my router.
