Found the iOS eBlocker App and installed it.

Are there plans for updates with new features?

With the core team we are committed to ensuring the security of the technology as well as bringing filters up to the quality of the commercial eBlocker (once all funding goals are meet). That‘s already much more work than estimated initially - but we are on it.

We also offer a platform to collect, reflect and prioritize feature ideas but implementation is up to the community/volunteers. Please share your ideas in the feature forum - and we all hope developers love the ideas and implement them...

Maybe we need to make this more clear in the next newsletter: Features wishes are great but community collaboration is necessary to get them done.

What you say Benne makes sense; i understand that the eBlocker-App is not your first priority and nor is it mine. Just was curious.

Actually we have a loooong list with ideas of improvements for the app and the eBlocker.

But as we don't have developers to bring the ideas to life, we have chosen to let users decide of what they feel should be done and prioritize in the "feature request" forum section.

Taking this user driven approach is very interesting as it shows our past product management was sometimes quite wrong. For example we felt "whitelists" for small kids would be big a selling point. Today we've learned no one cares about this (or at least no one wants to spend a dime for this feature).

Personally I'm looking forward very much to see what users really want - and how we find volunteers to develop this. Demanding features is always easy - but implementing the right features is the real way to go...

To start with Benne, i wouldn’t want to offend anybody. Second, i don’t have children. Third, i hate companies like Google, Amazon, Whatsapp and Facebook for the way they disrespect my privacy for commercial reasons.

So i have included all my OS X- and iOS-devices in the eBlocker-settings. I also installed the Adguard-app for Macs and the Adguard Pro app on the iPhones and iPads in my house. And i have been switching between the two blocker-solutions a lot!
On the one hand, Adguard is simple to install and use, but on the other hand eBlocker has more features and options. And i’m not really convinced yet that i need all those options. But that doesn’t mean that i don’t want the eBlocker to work as goog as possible. However, the eBlocker is a complicated animal and as such not really attractive. There, i have said it... 😉

I‘m not getting your point, sorry. This is about the app and future features. You are somewhere else and I don‘t understand.

PLS try to stick to the topic or open a new one and try to stay focused.

No offense either, I just try to keep the forum organized...
