My eblocker  Pi 4B / 2GB - 2.6    is running very fine for some month now.

Great Software !

I now want to use VPN and decided to use NordVPN which is recommended here.

Which file from NordVPN must I use to upload to eBlocker . There  are two Linux files available

https://nordvpn.com/de/download/linux/      The *.deb   or the *.rem file ? ? ?

If I look at the NV help page it looks like that the adaption must be done on terminal level ? ?

https://support.nordvpn.com/Connectivity/Linux/1325531132/Installing-and-using-NordVPN-on-Debian-Ubuntu-Raspberry-Pi-Elementary-OS-and-Linux-Mint.htm

Or will eBlocker do all these steps if I have uploaded the correct ( deb or rem ) file ?

What is the difference : I can also use NordVPN via my FB7590 instead at eBlocker.

THX in andvance

Regarding OpenVPN files see the docs here: https://eblocker.org/docs/where-can-i-find-the-required-openvpn-files-for-the-eblocker/

I suspect with FB & VPN the traffic from all your devices is passed thru one VPN. With eBlocker & VPN you can freely chose which device(s) traffic is passed thru which VPN (you can have multiple VPN in parallel).

So with eBlocker for instance, your iPad‘s traffic is passed thru NordVPN New York, while your Mac is using NordVPN Amsterdam and your kids are using the playstation without VPN, while your fireTV is routing thru Tor… etc.

THX!

Thank you for the link !    Can I load up the ZIP file  or must I load up only the UDP subfolder

It looks like that in the UDP folder are the parameters for the worldwide over 5.000 NordVPN VPN servers.

Where do I choose the different servers ( London, NewYork a.s.o. ) , in the eblocker IP anonymisation section ?

I didn't find your link  to my surprise bcs it's not listed under " IP Anoinymisation " where I expected it and I searched for.

It's located at " eBlocker mobile "   ? ? ?    That' s confusing to me.

OpenVPN UDP files need to be uploaded one by one. There is no bulk upload.

omg, there  are 5.885  entries in the UDP subfolder and they are grouped only by country ! ! !

f. i. =  us5815nordvpn.com.udp

This will be a hard job. 🙂  Of course not all are needed - only some , but you only find the IP address in the file if you analyse it with a text editor.  Which should be selected or prefered ?

client
dev tun
proto udp
remote 107.181.165.216 1194
resolv-retry infinite
remote-random
nobind . . . . . . . . .

How does other eBlock users solve this challange ?

How about other VPN suppliers  ?  Are there more comfortable solutions available ?

@rudi

with "Viprvpn" there is only one UDP-file, with one IP adress, for each country.

@Fisano

I checked their offer, sounds good, attractive pricing.

Have you tested Viprvpm w eBlocker already ?

Can you post some screenshots  ?
