Hi all,

I got a Raspi bundle with an SD card included. I wanted to burn the eblocker image to the card on my mac using balena etcher. But balena etcher shows me the card as blocked. So I cant write to the sd card. Any ideas what I can do here?

Thanks

@taipan Maybe it's a stupid answer, but have you checked the little "Lock" (hardware) switch on the SD card is set to "unlocked/writable"?

I'm not aware there is a software lock - but I'm on Win, so my judging might not apply to macOS... 🤔

Good luck anyway.

THX!

@random tja, this is not a stupid answer and I expected it. I have looked for the switch but cant find it. I simply cant. I am not sure if there are cards which dont have it it the first place, but I cant find it.

@taipan Just to make sure: it was the hardware switch? (I got lost in the math 😉  and I‘m not sure about the final cure).

THX!

I am toooooo ashamed to explained what happened. But the cure was the hardware switch, just not on the micro SD card. 😉
