Hi,

I'm testing eblocker, have insert a lot of blocklists (firebog), whitepages etc.

How I can save this settings.

One way is store a complete image of the SD-Card, other solutions??

Kind regards

If not provided for by a method unknown to me, i would appreciate a backup- and restore-option for all the information in the Settings/Blocker/overview-page.

(name, format, URL and options of all blocker lists)

Settings>System>Reset lets save you at least a few parameters. The feature to "save all" never got finished. There should be a base for deveplopers there to start with.

@Urs_1956

you can only backup your own APP-lists and the configuration from your devices in eBlocker.

eBlocker settings>system>reset>save settings (will save some but not all parameters).

@all I’ve merged similar topics and moved the topic to issues as it‘s a partly solved issue.

If you feel it should be added as a feature request to extend settings saved: please do so 😉

I run eblocker 2.4.5 on my raspberry and would like to update to 2.5. If i understand correctly I have to update to 2.5 manually as there is no automatic migration?

I didn't find any instructions  on how to do that. Does that mean I have to start from scratch with a clean install of 2.5? This would mean that I loose all of the settings that I did? Is there any way to keep the old settings?

Yes.

I have merged your question to this existing topic as it answers your question: https://eblocker.org/community/bugs-features/solution-to-save-settings/#post-1025

THX!
