Hello, eBlocker activation fails. what can I do?

after re-setting up and reconfiguring my Raspberry Pi caused the same problems (losing the network connection to the eblocker) I just reset the device to factory defaults and rebooted.
The setup was then done via the IOS app eblocker, as recommended on the help pages. During license activation I now always get the message: "Activation failed". What can I do? Thx

Same here (after eBlocker reinstallation).Error Message is 500 internal server error.
Also 'Check for updates is not working'.
Thought my PiHole, Firewall or other network stuff blocks it but then I testet it on FB7520 directly without other network components (just FB, eBlocker and notebook).

The issue is identified: Due to a very short timeout during the activation process it might fail if the activation database is too busy. We are on it and hope to have a fix or find workaround soon.
You can try to use the license code "FAMLFT-DEMO" as a workaround which also opens all features. The database might be a little faster, as not as many users have registered this. But there is no guarantee that it will work...

Unfortunately this is not possible.
Unfortunately, DEMO does not work either.
For me the activation was not possible around 16.50 hrs
@all We are working on it. At worst case we need to build a new eBlockerOS image - but this is time consuming and not a quick win. So we try to increase database speed with some "tricks"...
You can keep retrying with the code above, as "timing" is on the edge: So sometimes it works - sometimes not.
Nevertheless:
there is no guarantee that it will work...

Registration is now possible again. We have upgraded the server so that it responds faster. We will also extend the extremely short timeout of 5 seconds on the client side in the next release.

after eBlocker new installation, the activation fails. Also 'Check for updates' is not working.
I am using an Raspberry Pi 4, Model B with 4GB RAM and eblocker ver. 2.5.6.
The activation does not work.
It is the same issue that I have read in the forum, again.
What can I do?

Could you please retry and name the key you‘ve tried. Are you sure eBlocker has full Internet access?

Yes, it has full internet access. The eblocker is a part of the mesh network.

I looked in the eblocker settings, category licence. I can read: it is activated, but the activation is invalid.

@passat202 Might be a browser issue? Pls try to use a different browser and disable all plugins. Javascript needs to be enabled.
Have you tried system>reset for a factory and/or license reset?

Yes, it was a browser issue.
I used the edge browser now and it works fine. I only looked into the eblocker settings, category licence again. The activation is valid now and 'Check for updates' is working again.
