A DNS server (Domain Name System) is a kind of phone book for the Internet. It translates the domain names into IP addresses, which are then used to address the servers technically.
Known DNS servers, which neither censor nor log accesses and which we therefore recommend for use in eBlocker:
1.1.1.1
9.9.9.9You can use any DNS server with eBlocker. However, we recommend using DNS servers that do not record or censor your visited domains.
Attention Google DNS
To protect your privacy never use known Google DNS server, like 8.8.8.8 or 8.8.4.4.
