Hello Guys,

since yesterday it is not possible to activate a fresh installed eBlocker.

It tells me that the activation server can´t be reached.

I have taken some actions and dit test a lot to get it to work:

checked my network, although nothing has changed in the last months.

even did a fresh installation of my fritz box (to check if the update to 7.20 firmware had an impact)

created new sd-cards (3 times)

reactivated my old raspberry 3b with the still existing installation of eBlocker an tried to manually update it (Aktualisierung fehlgeschlagen).

I had no effort.

There is no firewall or security software installed, Raspberry is ok (e.g. Pi-Hole runs) and has full access to internet, network is ok....

I assume there is a problem on your side, because there are others with the same experience.

What´s going on?

Thanks for checking...

Hi ulmisch,

you are right, I tested and have the same problem, no activation possible!

🤔

Did you see something in the windows "License Agreement"?

Same here: I tried to activate a new installation of eblocker, but could only come to the License Agreement window, which was empty. No further action was possible.

I tried automatic and manual mode, with the same result.

I have exactly the same problem!

After a defect on a Banana Pi M2 I wanted to activate a Raspberry Pi 4 and unfortunately it didn't work. The "installation" itself seems to be fine!

@all We are experiencing issues with the update servers. As soon as the cause is known and fixed, we'll report here. Sorry for the inconvenience - it's complex IT...

Stay tuned...

@ulmisch, @pio78, @zwirbelgmx-ch, @dpo, @random,

the problem is fixed now. It was an expired TLS certificate on the server.

Thank you for reporting this!
