Please post bugs and issues found in eBlockerOS 2.5.x beta in this thread.

The eOS beta images can be found on the download page. They will automatically update to the latest beta-version.

Thanks much for your help!

Sorry, but do I have to do a total reinstall to run the BETA version?

Not sure what the exact procedure is for updating to 2.5 BETA.

@robertocravallo

If you were using the 2.5.x alpha version there is no need to reinstall.

In any other case you need to download the beta image and reinstall.

[translated with DeepL]

Hello, everyone,
here is a RaspberryPi 2 with eBlocker 2.5.1 in operation, the client is a Windows10 computer.
Immediately after calling the dashboard, a small preview of a pie chart appears for a short moment in the Blocker Statistics field, which is supposed to show the pages blocked so far. Very shortly afterwards this display switches to the view as shown on the attached screenshot. The field for the graphical display remains empty, all other entries show zero activities, but the Blocker Statistics (Total) shows a whole range of activities; unfortunately, the time indicated there is not correct.

What is wrong and what do I have to do to get my eBlocker working correctly?

Many thanks and best regards.

Just to get it straight: is there a way to backup all or most of my settings on the current stable release in order to restore them on the beta?

I spent quite some time, especially on the apps definition on https. I would be very unconvenient to start from scratch.

Thank you for a quick answer, best regards

w.

I did it with the alpha.

I backed up my settings, installed the alpha and restored the settings. I do not know if it is official recommended but it worked.

I backed up my settings, installed the alpha and restored the settings.

You mean this screen (because here are just app and websites mentioned)?

@all

We try to collect bugs in 2.5.1. here in this thread, but this topic is not a bucket to ask generic eBlocker questions that are already answered somewhere else.

Please make sure you can reproduce an issue that ONLY exists in 2.5.1. Then please post.

Feel free to open a new topic with you generic eBlocker question if you are not sure whether it‘s a bug. If it turns out to be a bug, we can merge it to this topic - but mixed topics like now can not be unmerged

THX for your understanding an cooperation. I‘m closing the topic to stop not on topic discussion. Please start your discussions anew under a topic that describes your question briefly.

I‘ll open a new topic for 2.5.1
