Although it is said “Never change a winning horse ...”, should i or shouldn’t i upgrade to a Raspberry P4 (see picture) and why? (apart from the € 93 🙂

I work all the time with Raspberry's.
In my production network ist is a PI4 with 4GB. Works great .... 👍
I have a test environment there I use an "old" PI3B, works also great... 👍
I never had the with eBlocker, so I can't say anything about this.
If you change to the PI4 it is a good choice 🍓

Thanks for the info, but i still wonder what the benefits are; speed?, more Blocker-rules possible?, anything else noticeable? With other words, is it worthwhile?

mmm ... more speed? depends on you provider and LAN speed. More filter-rules are not required, one ore two own filter entries are enough.
So at this time it is not worthwile 😎

@robfranssen-fr The is a significant speed increase with Raspi 4 (White cube 25-30Mbit/s, Raspi 4 90-110Mbit/s - all filters&https on). see answers your other similar question https://eblocker.org/community/bugs-features/the-need-for-speed/
Hint: don‘t buy a Raspi kit (as shown in your screenshot) that includes HDMI cable (=useless).
Again my conclusion: If you are happy with the white cube, save the money. If you are unhappy and you can read faster than pages build up, get a Rapi4 4GB and you are future proof for the next years to come...
