Is it possiable to create a home assistant integration for eblocker? So we can controle it in home assistant.
@lucbo82 Well, possible is everything - it's just software. 😉
Honestly, from my perspective I firstly see no reason to support home assistants. Generally these devices are the pest for privacy and act counter productive to our mission: giving more control over your privacy.
Secondly, I see no gain with an integration. What's the use case? "Alexa, I want to see more ads on my iPad, please disable eBlocker for it"? 🤔
For your background: You have full control over eBlocker using the Dashboard by accessing http://eblocker.box. Then it's just one click for all user relevant actions. But maybe I'm missing something?
Nevertheless, eBlocker is an open source project. So feel free to implement what you think is useful and your pull request might be considered by the maintainer👍

@random In my home I use home-assistant.io as a dashboard.
Thanks for your clarification regarding the concrete assistant 👍
I'm still unsure about the use case. Could you please get more into detail what you mean by
we don't have to switch between dashboards.
Are there other use cases you are looking for (which?) or is this it?
THX!
@random Here is a screenshot from my home-assistant.io dashboard with adguard integration.
This is the use case i'am looking for. When I click at these buttons,a menu pops up. For how long I want to disable adguard.
One dashboard to control (rule) them all 😉
@lucbo82 Thanks for clarification the use case is just "Pause". As eBlocker's Pause-Mode is device individual a simple button wont work, but surly a drop-down listing all devices could be implemented.
Nevertheless, I've moved your feature request to the feature request board for voting.
If you are not a developer, I keep fingers crossed some developer using the same assistant shows up willing to implement your request. In case you are a developer, come join our team. You are very welcome!
