[Solved] Banana Pi M2+ eBlockerOS 2.5 image available
Today we've released the beta version of eOS for Banana Pi M2+ (board of the eBlocker "white cube").
This release is intended for DIY enthusiasts only! We'll be providing an automatic update for all cubes later this month. Regular users should rather wait.
To update manually, open the eBlocker case and remove the board. You'll need a separate micro SD card for the image. Then follow the instructions on the download page. Good luck.
do you have an approximate schedule for the automatic rollout of the 2.5 for the white cubes ?
@joe We hope to start closed beta upgrade test next week. Public beta mid August. Final release with upgrade for everyone: depending on bugs - hopefully before the end of August.
This can vary a lot due to unforeseen circumstances. Remember: this is all volunteer work next to our 40-60h per week fulltime jobs. So please don‘t take this corse schedule as granted. It‘s just a good guess...
Thank you for your answer. I only asked because the first post said something about the end of July.
And yes - I am aware that this all has to do with a lot of commitment and even more voluntary work. That's why I'm happy to support the project with donations.
Many greetings + continued success
@joe Currently alpha testing. Looking good. Public beta (for the brave) next week 😎
End of August for everyone is quite possible.

Please check out the official announcement for the eOS 2.5 upgrade for all white cubes.
As we need more feedback from users running eOS 2.5 on M2+, I've reopend the topic again and kindly invite everyone to share their experiences here.
Background: We are currently testing the 2.4->2-5 upgrade and ran into several issues that apparently show up after a while eOS 2.5 is in production (like reboots, sudden frezzes and such).
