I’m under the impression that the FRITZ!Box 7590 is a popular router and it’s behaving well, at least with my (white cube) eBlocker. Why is it not mentioned in the compatibility-list? https://eblocker.org/en/compatibility/

Thanks for your feedback, Rob.
We‘ve not received „issues“ with 7590 - nor praise that it works… 🤔😉 But I‘m happy to add it!
Are you running the 7590 eBlocker in Automatic or Individual/Expert Network Mode? The compatibility list is primarily for the Automatic Network Mode…
THX!
Running in Expert Mode since i had issues with the app ‘Receiver’ (internet radio). Earlier the eBlocker was in Automatic Mode. This is the second FRITZ!Box 7590 i have and they both worked well with eBlocker in Automatic Mode.

@robfranssen-fr I just checked the compatibility list. As I said, it's to name incompatibilities or devices that need special configuration to work.
Since Plug&Play works fine with the Fritzbox 7590, I don't know where to add it, as there are only two columns "Not compatible" or "Manually compatible". Neither is true.
BTW: This is also the case for 99.9% of all routers. They are all also missing on the list, because they simply work well with eBlocker.
Seriously, I'm always happy to improve, but if we start adding all routers that work with eBlocker, I fear this ends up in a full time job... I rather feel we leave it as is - and if people look for 7590 in the forum, they find your message that it works well. 😉 Thanks for letting everyone know!
THX!
Oh shi…ps. I need new spectacles!
The header of the list shows:
eBlocker Compatibility
Compatibility Information Software »
Compatibility Hardware.
It should have been called “Incompatible/non-compatable hardware”, but anyhow, i should pay more attention. Got the message Random.
@robfranssen-fr Well, if a user has a question about „compatibility with eBlocker“ they probably search for „compatibility eBlocker“ not for „incompatibility eBlocker“. Remember: The headline (H1) is the most important for search engine optimization…
So from my (technical) perspective everything is fine as is…
But seriously: any feedback is appreciated, even if it does not yield to an instant change!
THX for you help! Keep up the good work.
Hello,
I have a FritzBox 7590 and the eBlocker with version 2.8.2.
The eBlocker has a static IP address (192.168.2.222) but the FritzBox often shows it with the same IP address as the FritzBox (192.168.2.1). DHCP server is still the FritzBox, I would like to keep it configured this way.
Actually it wouldn't be a problem, but with a tablet (iPad) I can notice that first the advertisement is blocked and later every advertisement including banner is shown again. So the internet traffic will probably not go through the eBlocker then.
The certificate is present on the tablet and in the browser of the tablet is also shown active on the website of the eBlocker at HTTPS, so the certificate is properly installed and present.
Does anyone know the problem and has been able to solve it? Attached are a few screenshots of the FritzBox.

If you follow the instructions to set eBlocker into Individual/Expert Network mode closely, it will work properly.
Background:
DHCP server is still the FritzBox, I would like to keep it configured this way.
This is not gonna work. You either need to use eBlocker's DHCP (if you set eBlocker to a fixed IP using Individual/Expert Mode) or set eBlocker into Automatic Network Mode (if you want to keep the router's DHCP).
There is no choice of mixing the configs as the router's DHCP always sets the router's IP as Gateway (but the Gateway needs to be set to eBlocker's IP to filter the packets).
The eBlocker has a static IP address (192.168.2.222) but the FritzBox often shows it with the same IP address as the FritzBox (192.168.2.1)
eBlocker will be shown with two IP address only if set into Automatic Network Mode. This is normal and intended. See here https://eblocker.org/docs/my-router-is-showing-different-ip-addresses-for-the-eblocker/
