Hello!

I have eBlocker Mobile setup on my eBlocker and my android phone. I have noticed that I can connect to it and everything works great when I'm connected to WiFi (not my home WiFi, but other WiFi hotspots outside of my home network), however I am unable to connect properly while I am on my mobile/cellular network. The OpenVPN Connect status shows that it is connected, however I cannot reach the internet or any of my network devices (such as the eBlocker appliance or my pfSense router/firewall).

I am in the US and use Mint Mobile as my carrier (a T-Mobile MVNO). My OpenVPN Connect Logs just say it's connected and the traffic graphs show activity, but I can't seem to connect to anything while the VPN is active.

Any ideas?

@etuckeriv Technically it shouldn't play a role how you are connecting to the Internet (LAN/WLAN/5G/LTE etc) as the connecting type is transparent (=invisible) to eBlocker Mobile.

Unless a provider does some packet filtering (like VPN usage in China, for instance) I have no idea why your mobile connections fails.

Have you tried a different mobile provider/SIM card for ruling out the packet filtering thesis?

Could you please also share the OpenVPN log from your client.

THX!

@etuckeriv Just checking back if the issue still exists.

If so, please share the openVPN client log. We might find the cause even if you can't swap/check a different mobile provider.

THX!
