To improve privacy there are some recommended Firefox extensions like:
* Neat URL
* Skip redirect
* HTTPS everywhere/HTTPZ
* ublock origin
* Canvas blocker
* No script (here I´m quite sure that it is a good idea to keep this extension!)
Furthermore there are recommendations about how to configure Firefox in a way that fingerprinting is getting more difficult (i.e. from www.privacy-handbuch.de).
For me the question is what is necessary and what is even creating a conflict?
The question is what is still recommended/necessary together with eblocker.
@tuxxer The question is: what do you want to achieve?
In terms of privacy protection generally there is no need for extra tools as eBlocker should cover you. If you have specific needs (disabling JavaScript etc) thats another cup of tea.
Nevertheless Ublock and Skip redirect wont be needed for sure. Https everywhere is not needed (anymore) regardless of eBlocker. And if you feel the others are not hurting - leave them in place. All to my best knowledge. 😉
THX!
