Dear all,
I use Android (grapheneos), eBlocker 2.8.2 and usually fennec as my browser. The certificate to use https is installed in Android. This all works well.
Now I read that fennec is crap and bromite browser is the better option. So I thought I give it a try. It seems to me that Bromite does not recognise the certificate and I could not find a setting in bromite to add one. I am sure this can be done. What did I overlook?
Thanks in advance.
Hi,
unfortunately I don't have an Android smartphone so I can't help directly. But on the github page of Bromite ( https://github.com/bromite/bromite ) I read that there is a flag that is disabled by default. This one sounds like what you are looking for. It is called #allow-user-certificates
Please visit the Bromite github page once and have a look at it. Otherwise, you could also open a thread there and ask about the problem there ( https://github.com/bromite/bromite/discussions ).
Sorry I can't provide any other solution.
tested with Google Nexus 5 and Lineageos and Bromite.
Can't find any settings to do this.
Like "johann0815" told there is an article on github. So I read it is in development.

Hi,
found a solution, thanks to@johann0815 for this hint 😀
Open Bromite and type the following URL:
chrome://flags/
scroll down to
"Allow User certificates"
enable them !!!
If you have the eBlocker certificate importet and https ist switched on, it works 😎
I have done the test 👍 👍 👍
I will take screenshots tomorrow.
