White Cube eBlocker OS 2.5.6; iPhone SE iOS 14.2; iPad 5th Gen. iPadOS 14.2
On both devices the Dashboard FUNCTION TEST keeps showing an exclamation mark for ‘DNS Firewall’, also after rebooting both devices and the eBlocker.
On my iMac with OS X 10.11.6 this situation doesn’t exist.
Rob
A known display error that will be fixed with eOS 2.5.8+. No worries 😉
THX!
Since resetting to factory-settings of my White Cube and consequent update to OS 2.5.6 (no restore!), the exclamation mark for DNS Firewall on my iPad has gone; everything green now.
After (another) reset to factory settings with eOS 2.5.8, the above is true, but not so on my iPhone with the same OS version 14.4; everything green except DNS Firewall.
Just wanted to let you know.
eBlocker update 2.6.2, iPhone iOS 14.4.1, eBlocker Mobile .ovpn-file from ver 2.6.2.
When connected to WiFi-router, only exclamation mark for ‘Device is monitored’; when connected to 4G, both ‘Device is monitored’ and ‘DNS Firewall’ show an exclamation mark.
Rob
Regardless of Status-errors when connected to 4G, websites visited show the eBlocker-icon and the controlbar shows number of Trackers and Ads. Rob
