Hi,
Ive been using Eblocker for a few weeks now and it’s been a great project, well done team. Could I request some additions,
- disable the Eblocker has detected a tracking site.
The reason for this is that some IOS games load a tracking URL and the game quits and loads up safari with the notification. Presently the only way to avoid this is to allow the tracking site.
- add the ability to enable / disable the controller bar for multiple clients.
- Apple TV support
i have found the ability to install the HTTPS root certificate on the Apple tv, however YouTube breaks. Netflix works.
Thank you
Thanks very much for your great feedback and the feature request. It would be great if you could share more in details about the desired behavior.

I understand the problem. But what's the behavior if the dialog is disabled?
If "allow tracking" is desired then one could already just check the checkbox "remember this decision" and the dialog will no longer be shown. Same with "block trackers". 🤔

Today you can select for each device and user wether the ControlBar/Icon should be shown: Settings> Devices> <select desired device> Tab Contolbar.
Is this what you are wishing for?
THX!
Thanks random.
for the first one, if possible similar to the control bar, have a system wide setting to disable such a prompt or custom web page. The check box is an option, not sure if this is already present as I cannot see it.
as for the behaviour of its a system wide setting, then no client is presented with the custom web page about trackers, or individually if the page has a check box that you no longer want the prompt.
for the control bar, similar as above, a system wide setting or create a control bar setting where you can select multiple clients into field menu to disable the bar. I have around 12 devices that didn’t need the control bar.
I’ll do more testing on the AppleTV.
@deepunder Hi! Can you share how you were able to install the certificate to the Apple TV? I'm currently trying to figure out how to do this.
Actually I figured it out. Doesn't seem to be working to block any ads anywhere tho :-/ Oh well!
For anyone who finds this looking for information on how to do this, here are the steps I took:
- In your eBlocker Settings page (not your device dashboard, but the settings dashboard for the eBlocker itself) go to the HTTPS menu
- Go to the "Certificate" Tab
- Scroll to the "Download" button, right click and copy the link. Paste it somewhere you can read it (you'll need to type it into the AppleTV later)
- Scroll all the way to the bottom and select "Profile" under the "VPN & Device Management" heading
- Choose "Add Profile"
- Type in the address you copied from the "Download" button earlier, choose "Done" and it will import the eBlocker certificate
- Choose "Install" from the menu that follows (and keep choosing "Install" for the confirmations)
- Back out to the Settings > General menu again and choose "About"
- Scroll down and select "Certificate Trust Settings"
- Select your new eBlocker certificate
- Choose "Continue" in the warning window to instruct AppleTV to trust the certificate
- Probably give it a reboot for good measure
Like I said, tho, this doesn't seem to be blocking any ads for anything on mine. Maybe I'm missing a setting somewhere, so if anyone has any insight let me know!
I have never used eBlocker and therefore have no experience with it.
In the past, I had used the Apple Configurator to install profiles on an AppleTV. You can also use it to install certificates. But it probably makes no difference.
