I have put the Eblocker into operation.
However, I now have the problem that it displays warning messages under Status. I have deactivated the DHCP server in the Fritzbox 7490 and activated it in the Eblocker.

In the status on the dashboard at the top right, all points are marked with an exclamation mark.

Except for Domain Blocker not used.

Can someone please help me?

Client OS
Browser
eBlocker hardware
eBlockerOS version

Please follow the user manual first https://eblocker.org/docs/eblocker-user-manual/ and check the "instant help" search, if you are in doubt.

There is also a forum search function in the right hand side bar you may find useful. 99% of all "standard questions" have been answered already. Just give it a try... 😉

If you are stuck, please provide all infos mentioned here: https://eblocker.org/community/announcements/before-posting-here-please-read/

THX!

I have the same problem.

The status function test has been showing red exclamation marks for a few days. Restarting the blocker will then no longer work. I have already rewritten the SD card several times, it is always the same. First everything works, after a few hours I can no longer access the website and then the status shows the red exclamation marks again.

What can I do?

My configuration: RaspBerry 4 (2GB), OS 2.6.2, Windows 10, FritzBox 7590

Please read the README I‘ve linked above and post all infos requested.

Have you checked the forum using the search term „exclamation“? Maybe you find some posts useful.

THX!

@AndreasHamburg Is this question solved meanwhile? If so, it would be great if you‘d share the solution you‘ve found.

yes @random

I have actually found a solution.

First I looked in Windows 10 to see if the eblocker certificate is stored in Windows. To do this, I proceed as follows ---> From the Start menu, select Run and enter certmgr. msc. ...
To display your certificates, in the left pane, under Certificates-Current User, expand the directory for the type of certificate you want to display.

At the item Trusted root certificate authorities I should find the eblocker certificate. If there is no certificate from eblocker I should install it first.

How to do this you can read here ---> https://eblocker.github.io/help/de/360002342854.html .

It is best to use the Edge browser because then the certificate is stored for the whole computer.

ATTENTION: For the following browsers and programs you have to store the eBlocker certificate in your own certificate store.

Firefox
Cliqz (based on Firefox)
Seamonkey
Thunderbird (e-mail program)

After the certificate is properly stored in Windows or the corresponding browser, it makes sense to restart the computer completely.

Also here the eblocker should be restarted for security reasons !

Then call the eblocker dashboard again and see if the exclamation mark(s) has/have disappeared from the status (usually at the top).

If this still does not help, it makes sense to delete the DNS cache. For this I call the settings. To do this, I go to the main menu on the left to DNS Firewall then to Status and then to Clear DNS Cache and then restart the browser(s). Also here I restarted the Eblocker. But don't just cut the power to the eblocker but restart it from the settings menu.

With the steps mentioned here I could solve the/my problem
