I experienced the "Web filtering (HTTPS)" exclamation mark after performing the eBlocker function test. In another thread of this forum ( https://eblocker.org/community/main-forum/web-filtering-https-exclamation-mark/#) I found the solution to delete "eBlocker.org" form the trusted websites, where I apparently had added it manually. I did, and right afterwards the exclamation mark disappeared. But the next time I did the test, it reappeared, and when I checked the "trusted websites" list, there was a new entry: "Auto Trust App (Experimental, don't use!) - eblocker.org"
This entry cannot be deleted.
What does this mean? And how can I have web filtering https get working?
When I open a https-site, sometimes I see the eBlocker symbol, sometimes I don't.
Any idea? Thank you!
This is a know issue of the Auto Trust App (ATA) that will be fixed until final release.
Please disable ATA (in trusted apps) in the meantime as there are other know issues.
See here for more info. https://eblocker.org/en/magazine/eblockeros-2-6-all-new-features-at-a-glance#ata
Thanks much for checking out the early developer release.👏
@winfried Background: As soon as eBlocker.org is whitelisted (via https exemption or via dashboard) the SSL/certificate test will always fail. This is by design and no need to worry.
Just make sure not to whitelist eblocker.org accidentally and keep ATA disabled.
THX!
With eBlockerOS 2.7 we have released the Auto Trust App as beta version.
THX!
