hi people!
I have got two problems with my eblocker. The first is that checking for updates manually fails for some unknown reason and the second is that my android device connects to the wireless network, but only without internet connection as indicated by the exclamation mark besides the wlan symbol on android.
In the past, restarting the eblocker (which serves as dns server) has always helped but not this time. I figured that this might be due to an old eblocker system-version and wanted to trigger manual update, which failed without reason, as you can see here:
I am paying for the family licence, which is still active, as you can see here:
I would like to upload my diagnostics report to this post, but .zip files are not allowed for some reason.
Can anyone help out?
@athlan Please send the diagnosis report to support (at) eblocker.org. BTW: We recommend not to share diagnostics here as they might contain personal data. 💡
As you are running an old eBlockerOS version, the Android issue might be fixed after a successful update.
Please stay tuned as analysis can take a while.

Hi @random, thank you for your reply. In the meantime I actually got help from someone on the German discord support-channel. The solution was quite simple: I was told that the os version I had installed apparently has got a bug which causes the update-search to fail if the dns-firewall-switch is enabled. After I flipped this switch to off, the update downloaded and installed just fine.
After the update I checked my router configuration making sure that eblocker's ip was entered as dns server, which it was, but then I disabled dhcp on the router entirely and now eblocker handles that as well. Anyhow, the dns-firewall-switch is enabled again and in tor-mode, which it always was. Connecting to the network via android works again.
Greetings!
