I do not see the eblocker dashboard.
@zilia Thanks for your post.
I understand eBlocker is working fine and you see that ads are getting blocked - but you can not reach the eBlocker Dashboard. Right?
Please enter "http://eblocker.box" in the browser and share the results here (preferably a screenshot). Make sure to copy/paste the URL (i.e. it's important to use http: and not https:).
Have you made any changes recently? New browser, new router, new ...?
THX!
The blocker works. It blocks ads.
BUT I can't access the dashboard. I had saved it as a link and as my start screen.
I haven't actually changed any settings. Is my iMac too old? High Sierra?
Thank you very much!
It automatically switches to https. 🙁
@zilia In case you've accidentally changed some Firefox settings, make sure DNS is set to default as well:
THX!
@zilia Well, then the browser should not switch to HTTPS (but stay at HTTP).
In case you've installed plugins in Firefox: Disable ALL of them. I fear some plugin might be interfering here...
THX!
That doesn't work either.
The FritzBox?
Do you have an iOS device? If so please install the eBlocker iOS app from the Apple app store and try to check the Dashboard via the app.
Are you sure the DNS settings in Firefox are exactly as @Random has shown above? To me it seems there is some DNS misconfiguration in your system. Have you tried Safari?
To your question: The Fritzbox is probably not the culprit here - nor the age of your system.
It's better to follow the instructions/questions given here to pinpoint the issue. I.e. @random's question above is still unanswered: "Have you made any changes recently? New browser, new router, new ...?"
IPhone SE. ca. 2017.
Very old school. 😉
First of all, thank you very much! I'll try it later.
Unfortunately, I don't have time right now. See you.

Probably the old versions after all.
Both on the iMac and the iPhone SE 15.8.4.
To old!?
I downloaded eBlocker on my iPhone SE.
It does not accept the IP from the blocker.
Time for new technology!?
It does not accept the IP from the blocker.
What does this mean?
A screenshot of the error message would be more helpful than constant "to old?, new technology?, Fritzbox?, blabla?" remarks.
We know what we are doing. It's sufficient to provide clear answers to clear questions to move forward together.
THX!
I am having exactly the same problems as Zilia to access my freshly installed and updated eBlocker (on a new Raspberry Pi). It was accessible as long as the "expert" mode ("network") was activated (DHCP by the FritzBox), but since I switched to "Automatic ..." ("network") no further access. The blocker is visible on the Fritzbox network interface (with the IP 192.168.178.4) and might be working (??), but no access whatsoever - and I have been through all the attempts described above and in the FAQs here as well (my system: MAC OS Tahoe 26.01, iPhone 16 with iOS 26.01) ... (???)
@thomasr Expert Network Mode and DHCP by Fritzbox will not work because the default gateway in the Fritzbox can not be set (to eBlocker's IP).
I'd recommend to follow instructions, set eBlocker to Individual Network Mode and use eBlocker's DHCP.
And if http:// <IP address of eBlocker> is not working, install the image anew - preferably on a brand new SD card. (Make sure using http not https btw.!)
Last: If you need further help, it's easier to open a new thread to get individual help. Your issue might not be the issue of Zilla at it's core, I fear.
THX!
Hello, another attempt. Please bear with me. I'm a layman. Thank you!
Still unable to access the eBlocker dashboard.
Not on iMac 10.13.60, not with iPhone SE, and not on iPhone 13 mini.
I have downloaded the eBlocker app on both iPhones.
I have iMac with version macOS HighSierra 10.13.6 and Firefox 115.29.0
The eBlocker is connected to the FritzBox with a cable (LAN).
The eBlocker is lit and the Fritzbox shows it as “connected.”
My iMac is connected to the FritzBox via Wi-Fi.
I have restarted several times. I have unplugged and plugged the cable back in.
I have waited 5 to 10 minutes.
Both iPhones display the message:
eBlocker not found
No eBlocker was found at address xxx.xxx.xxx.xx.
I have checked the MeBlocker IP address from the Fritzbox several times (!!). They are identical.
On iMac, Firefox and Safari cannot connect to eBlocker.
Maybe someone can help me. I'm not a techie and I'm rarely online.
But when I am, I want to be able to surf safely with the eBlocker cube again.
The problem arose on its own. I haven't made any changes. I know that's not really possible. But maybe it has something to do with a new version?
Thank you very much!
Yours, Zilia

On iOS make sure to trust eBlocker's certificate after installation (German: Einstellungen> Allgemein> Info> Zertifikatvertrauenseinstellungen):
Also make sure to set WLAN like this:
In case you are using iCloud you need to make sure Apple Private Relay is disabled in Safari. See: https://eblocker.org/community/announcements/beware-of-apple-private-relay-please-disable/
Hope this helps. Let me know.
Hi, the same in may case: "I have checked the MeBlocker IP address from the Fritzbox several times (!!). They are identical." No access whatsoever, even after complete new installation on new SD-card
My settings (private relay etc.) are all correctly set as described above ...
The eBlocker-IP-adresses seem to change (viewed through Fritzbox 7590 on 192.168.178.1) by themselves: From "192.168.179.5" (instead 192.168.178.x while the IPv4-address is shown as 192.168.178.61), then it changes back to 192.168.178.1 (same as Fritzbox) - so there is maybe a conflict of IP-Addresses between eBlocker and Fritzbox ... (?)
The problem started with the old eBlocker box: "The problem arose on its own. I haden't made any changes." Then I bought a raspberry Pi, installed eBlocker OS, and after changing the network settings ... now even after a complete re-installation the problem persists ... (???)
Is eBlocker working at all under these circumstances??
@thomasr As said above it makes it easier if you open a new thread.
Nevertheless, the changing IP address is probably caused by two(!) DHCP servers in your network. Make sure to disable the DHCP on your router and use eBlocker's Individual Network Mode (which enables a DHCP server on eBlockerOS).
See here for background: https://eblocker.org/en/docs/dhcp-server-there-can-only-be-one/
THX!
