Hi. I bought an originally packaged eBlocker Cube and unfortunately I can't get it to work. I've been waiting for the first 5 minutes several times, but the setup.eblocker page doesn't change and I don't see a logo in the top right corner either. Could someone please help me? Thanks

Client OS
Browser
eBlocker hardware
Client OS version
eBlockerOS version

@maitschel It‘s highly recommended to work thru the Setup Instructions carefully. 😉

In the instructions you find the link how to gain access to eBlocker (as alternative to setup.eblocker.org). In brief: use the eBlocker iOS app or http to eBlocker’s IP address

Hope this helps.👍

THX!

@maitschel Great you got it working! 👍

Internal eMMC should be faster than SD. Individual results may vary 😉

THX!

so everything works now except for the dns firewall. before that i had to activate the dhcp server manually in the eblocker settigns and deactivate it on my router. is the possible cause for dns the missing option in my router to change the dns provider?

Could you please be more specific and/or provide screenshots of error. I‘m not sure where you are at? 🤔

OK, I understand you‘ve set eBlocker to Individual or Expert Network Mode - which is good!

Sorry, but I have no clue what you mean. Could you please retry your question using other words or translate via deepl.com.

THX!

I have restarted the cube and router several times, but the dns firewall does not want to work. the dns leak test always comes through from my provider.

@maitschel The DNS Firewall works fine, but it seems your client is not set to use it. I.e. the DNS setting of your client is probably static or you have not rebooted your client to clear the DNS cache.

Make sure your client gets the DNS setting from the DHCP and clear the DNS cache (by rebooting your device).

If you can‘t get it to work, open a command shell on Win (Type cmd in the windows search field). Then type „nslookup www.eblocker.org“ on the shell and post screenshot of result here.

THX!

@maitschel Turn off IPv6 and everything works. See instructions.

Ok thanks for the help. In the dashboard test, DNS Firewall still shows a ringing sign (yes, I restarted the PC), but everything seems to be working now. In the next few days I will test whether everything is running smoothly, if that is the case I will of course be there with a donation 🙂

@maitschel I can only repeat what has been said many times: Follow the instructions closely and everything is gonna work fine (as for thousands of other eBlocker users).

If you feel like skipping instruction steps, like disabling IPv6, don‘t expect a miracle - it will not work for sure and rather result in frustration and a waste of time for you.

THX!
