Since I have updated my eBlocker (white cube) I can´t login to my Mail-Account in the Web-Browser. Before I installed the Upgrade this was possible without any problem but since then it is not. Is there a solution for this, except for the possibility to add the website as an exception?

Thanks for every tip or idea!

I can´t login to my Mail-Account in the Web-Browser.

Can you please share the exact error (screenshot would be great).

THe point is that I simply can´t get in. If I enter my access data, the webmailer will be loaded and then I will immediately return to the login page.

@simonschmitt THX! That's helpful. But I've removed your vid not to reveal your email... 😉

Please try the following:

Settings>HTTPS> Tab: TRUSTED APPS - Click on "New App Definition".

I suggest to use the following

Name: mailbox.org

Description: domains to make login work

Domains:

office.mailbox.org
login.mailbox.org

Please report success/failure and we take it from there.

@simonschmitt Great collaboration! THX!

The only thing I wonder is why the login worked in 2.4 without adding these domains. Are you sure this was the case and the issue is correlated to the 2.5 update? It could have been a change at mailbox.org as well? Or did your recently enable HTTPS? Other changes / new cert / etc.?

As I've watched it, it can actually be the only reason. Although some things were changed on the server side of the mail provider (e.g. to TLS 1.2 & 1.3), which was no problem with the previous version of the eBlocker system.

That was the reason that surprised me myself and led to the question here.

@bpr To make a long story short: eOS 2.5 is probably causing issues with certain domains that only support TLS 1.2 & 1.3. See discussion above for details.

Any ideas?

@simonschmitt, @random

I could not reproduce the problem on macOS 10.15.7 with Firefox 81.0.2 or Safari 14.0. I can log in and see eBlocker's controlbar icon on office.mailbox.org.

I tested with eBlockerOS 2.5.6 on "white cube" and Raspberry Pi 4.

Do you have any special blocking lists installed?

@bpr I installed  the VPN Perfect Privacy on the eBlocker with a OVPN Profile with AES 256 CBC ( https://www.perfect-privacy.com)

I localized the problem: it was because of the camouflage as a Mac. When I deactivated it, the registration worked again.
