Thanks very much for this interesting find.
Apparently we have a bug in the HTTPS self test which is also discussed here https://eblocker.org/community/main-forum/eblocker-status-exclamation-mark-for-https/
We have this on our list and will try to find the cause once eOS 2.6 has been released.
Fortunately it's just the test that shows wrong data - but eBlocker works as expected (and blocks trackers & ads).
@bpr provided solution - at least to my post. See here: eBlocker Status: exclamation mark for HTTPS
Potentially it will be a solution for your topic as well.
THX
@zilia To sum up: The issue discussed is not related to an eBlocker update (even this was suggested several times), but @bonyCB had added "eBocker.org" to the "trusted" list.
I'm not sure why he added it initially, but this results in test failures since eBlocker contacts eBlocker.org for the test, but will not check the test results as it's on the trustlist (which means eBlocker may not look at the traffic).
Long story short: Just remove manually added eBlocker.org entries from the Trusted Apps list - and test will pass.
THX!
Good day,
I am very happy! Everything green again! Everything safe again! All devices camouflaged!
If it stays like this after the next update, there will be another donation! 😉 PROMISED!
As a technical layman with bad english it is not so easy to follow in the forum. 🙂
Many greetings!
