Good day,
so far the VPN service from perfect-privacy worked perfectly in eBlocker.
Despite re-recording the ovpn server profiles matching the eBlocker (from the download page of the VPN provider), this is no longer the case. TOR however works.
The VPN manager available from the VPN provider works correctly under my current Win10.
What could be the cause?
Could it be that the eBlocker updates are the cause for this?
Thanks for any hints.

To my knowledge there were no changes to eBlockerOS in this regard - besides security updates. Other VPN services work well.
You might want to get in touch with Perfect Privacy for support what they might have changed.
Please report back here if you have received further infos.
THX!
Hey @bastet,
I use VyprVPN and have no problems so far. Also, I can add a new OVPN file without any problem and use that configuration as well.
I also suspect an error with perfect privacy...sorry 😕
Hi @benne,
I am in contact with perfect-privacy (PP) and was asked for a protocol. eBlocker offers a "diagnostic report". Can I pass this on without hesitation? Or would it not be better if an eBlocker insider would look at this protocol?
The diagnosis report is a gz compressed tar file that can be unpacked with a proper tool (ie. WinRar). It contains a file „openVPN“ with the log that‘s probably needed by Perfect Privacy. The rest is irrelevant, might contain private data and should rather not be shared, if you want my opinion.
Hope this helps.👍
I have the same issue: My eBlocker can't connect to the VPN network of Perfect Privacy, despite correct profile settings. Could you solve the problem in the meantime?
Thank you!
No solution so far! I asked for help at the suggestion of eBlocker at perfect-privacy, including eBlocker logs - unsuccessfully. eBlocker referred to pp with the reason, because the eBlocker updates are probably not the cause. I am at a loss!
will do.
@zwirbelgmx-ch Thanks for the hint. It worked smoothly in the past, but Perfect Privacy has been removed now.
Thanks everyone for your feedback. This is very valuable to avoid pitfalls with Perfect Privacy 👍
To sum up: Perfect Privacy is not recommend as they have changed "something" so they are incompatible to eBlocker.
Hello together,
I had the same problem with PP. But I think I figured out what the problem is and how to solve it.
Instead of simply downloading the standard OpenVPN config file, I tried the "OpenVPN Config- Generator." (This can be found in the PP menu under "Download & Setup").
Under "TLS flavor" select the option "TLS-auth", instead of "TLS-crypt." (I did not change the other settings.)
With this config file everything works again.
My observation/explanation:
PP seems to have changed something in their OpenVPN config files.
This leads to the eBlocker "ignoring" the OpenVPN static key. At least this can then be found in the "Ignored Settings."
I hope I could help someone with this 🙂
Cheers

Thank you very much! I have switched to TLS-auth. Now it works again for me. 🙂
Yes, you have helped me. Thank you very much! 🙂
Strange that PP did not offer a solution to my request. 😪
