Hi,

I already have a dedicated Linux Server running in my network. Can eblocker be run on it and how? Or is it only possible on Raspberry only?

@Janhasfun If you are a developer: yes, you can use the published sources to run eBlocker on a linux server. At former commercial eBlocker times we had a demo server in a virtual environment running...

With the eBlocker Open Source project we are focussed on the Raspberry Pi platform only - due to very limited resources unfortunately. (See here why eBlocker is not a simple package install - and why you better run a dedicated server for just eBlocker: https://eblocker.org/community/main-forum/ssh-root-access/#post-3344 )

If you‘d like to work on a „linux server“ edition, you are very welcome to join the team.🤗👍

THX!

@janhasfun

Update: We will be releasing a Virtual Machine version of eBlockerOS in May 2022 (which is currently being tested already).

This version can be run within Virtual Box on a dedicated linux server.
