I am located in Germany/Hessen and I want to offer my private help with fixing the cubes, when you run into an update problem and the cube won't work anymore.

Only costs for sending the the cube to me and back is what you have to pay.

Please note: This service is meant only for users where the 2.9 update caused the white cube’s eMMC to fail (see https://eblocker.org/community/bugs-features/issue-after-update-21-04-2022/#post-5821 ).
There is a fix @calimero has found to revive the failed file system. Unfortunately we fear the eMMC will die over time as the 5+years old hardware is aging.
For a longer lasting fix we rather recommend using a brand SD card following the instructions here: https://eblocker.org/community/bugs-features/original-white-cube-update-from-eblocker-os-2-5-6-not-successful/#post-5698
Of course the best and future proof choice is to switch to a Raspberry Pi 4, 2GB 👍

I have a problem with my original eblocker white cube.
I connected it with TV screen and took some pictures of booting process.

@runningman74 Hi Markus, are you firm in Linux / Armbian OS and think you can do the fixing steps which are needed by yourself, or do you need someone who can do it for you?

As @benne discussed, we rather recommend this solution (no linux knowhow involved 😉)

@runningman74 Using the SD card method is as easy as inserting an SD into a camera/phone… but of course also @calimero‘s fixing service is a great offer too.

Thanx for your answers!!! First I will try to do the fixing steps on my own if I can find some minutes of silence for myself. After fixing the problem, the next problem for me will be to look for my license data and the last data backup from the cube...
After trying to fix the problem, I will report to you!
