Hi, I have since 2 days a problem with my eBlockerPro. It no longer works and when I try to log in comes only the  (fixed) IP address of the eblocker/settings (192.xxx.x.xx/settings) and nothing happens - a blank window. I also tried to reset the eblocker with USB stick (FAT32 formatted) with an empty file named “eblocker-factory-reset.txt” on the USB stick, unfortunately without success. The icon on the right edge does not come either. In the router I can see the eblocker that In the router I can see the eblocker, which gets an IP address. Does anyone have an idea what to do? Would be very grateful for any help.

@arvi Thanks for the info. I assume you have rebooted your eBlocker by disconnecting it from power - wait 2min - reconnect.

If issue persists after reboot:

Can you please open a command shell on Win (click start, then type „cmd“ and <return/enter>)

In the black command shell window type (at the end of line <return/enter>):

ping 192.168.1.28

Then

nslookup www.eblocker.org

Then

tracert 1.1.1.1

Please post screenshot of results here.

Have you changed any components recently (new router, repeater, browser update, etc.)?

THX!

IPv6 disabled for client/network? No

Ups, I have overseen this. For eBlocker to work properly you need to disable IPv6. Best on your router or alternatively in Windows: https://eblocker.org/docs/disable-ipv6-for-your-internal-network/

This might be not causing the issue, but to make sure eBlocker works, this is mandatory.

THX!

No, I have not made any component changes recently.

IP6 was disabled on Router, and I have disabled it now on the pc.

PS: I have rebooted my eBlocker by disconnecting it from power - waited 10 min - reconnect.

Tests

 Thnx for the support!

@arvi eBlocker is alive. Routing seems to work. I assume blocking is working and you don‘t see many ads. I‘m a little clueless 🤔

Three things to try:

  1. Use a different browser & device to access eBlocker
  2. Explicitly put http:// before eBlocker’s IP, when opening in browser
  3. Open the browser console (usually under developer tools in most browsers), then access eBlocker and share output here

THX!
