Introduction #
The eBlocker Controlbar provides quick-access to important functions for the currently loaded page and other eBlocker settings. All of the eBlocker Controlbar functions are found on the eBlocker Dashboard. The Dashboard also has additional settings and statistics.
The purpose of the eBlocker Controlbar is to allow on-the-fly changes of eBlocker tracking protection and settings whilst you are surfing. Using the Controlbar means you don’t have to leave your currently viewed page to make changes via the Dashboard.
Accessing The Controlbar #
To open the eBlocker Controlbar, click on the eBlocker icon.
The Controlbar will appear at the top of the page you are viewing.
The Controlbar also provides a quick way to access the eBlocker Dashboard. The eBlocker Dashboard can also be accessed directly by visiting the http://eblocker.box URL in your browser. By entering this address in your web browser you will directed to the Dashboard for your current device.
Controlbar Functions #
The Controlbar provides a selected set of settings, quick links and information.
- Dashboard – Provides quick access to the eBlocker Dashboard.
- User – Shows which user is active.
- Trackers – Shows the number of trackers found and provides access to functions.
- Ads – Displays the number of ads found and provides access to functions.
- IP-Anon – Access to the Tor network and VPN connections.
- Cloaking – Provides the option to disguise your device.
- Pause – Pauses the eBlocker and forwards you to the Dashboard (not when parental control is activated).
- Settings – Forwards you to the eBlocker settings (not when parental control is activated).
- Help – Forwards you to the eBlocker online help.
- Online Time – Displays the remaining online time (only when parental control is activated).
