Trusted Websites are domains that are excluded from eBlocker’s HTTPS function. You can add new domains to this list on the “Trusted Website” tab within the HTTPS settings. Commonly, there are two reasons for manually putting a domain on this list:
- A website stops to work properly once the HTTPS feature is activated on your device
- You don’t want eBlocker to analyze the HTTPS communication to the domain because the website contains sensitive information and you don’t trust eBlocker enough (even though the code is open source and your eBlocker never ever sends information to the internet or the eBlocker team).
The list of Trusted Websites contains all domains you manually added and also all domains that are excluded by a Trusted App you activated (remember that a Trusted App is basically a list of domains to be excluded from the HTTPS function):
The list consists of the name, the Domain/IP, the name of the Trusted App if applicable, and the status System owned Domain/IP or User defined Domain/IP.
If individual web pages are not compatible with the eBlocker, you can exclude them from eBlocker protection by clicking the Add Website button.
Enter a name for the exception and enter the Domain or IPs. After you click the Save button, this exception will be added to the list of Trusted Websites.
Click the Edit button to delete a Trusted Websites from the list. Then select the Web Exception concerned and click the Remove Website button.
Important: Only user-defined Domain/IP entries can be deleted here. If you want to remove a domain from a Trusted App, disable or edit the Trusted App itself.
