Release Notes 3.1

eBlockerOS 3.1: March, 2024 #

This is a maintenance release of eBlockerOS fixing and improving various aspects in the eBlockerOS backend.

eBlockerOS 3.1.0: March 26, 2022 #

  • Fixed the device cloaking in IPv6 networks.
  • Fixed routing in IPv6 networks so external requests to internal IPv6 servers are working properly.
  • Improved the surrogates by updating to the latest version.
  • Improved security of underlying Linux system. All used packages are up-to-date.
  • New function to recover a failed update via the user interface. The function will automatically notice if an update failed and show a dialog under Settings> License & Updates> Updates. The failed update can then be fixed by a click of a button. The previous USB thumb drive method for update recovery is obsolete now.
